Absolute Laboratories Pte. Ltd. (ALAB) is a SAC-SINGLAS accredited calibration laboratory based in Singapore, specialising in acoustic and vibration instrument calibration, noise monitoring, and industrial hygiene services.
Our Accreditation
ALAB holds SAC-SINGLAS accreditation certificate LA-2015-0589-C under ISO/IEC 17025 — the international standard for testing and calibration laboratories. Our accreditation scope covers sound level meters, acoustic calibrators, vibration monitors, and related instruments. Calibration reports issued by ALAB carry the SAC-SINGLAS mark and are internationally recognised through the ILAC Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRA) in over 90 countries.
Our Relationship with Absolute Instrument Systems
ALAB operates in close collaboration with our sister company, Absolute Instrument Systems Pte. Ltd. (AIS). AIS is the exclusive distributor and authorised service centre for Svantek sound level meters and vibration monitors in Singapore and Malaysia, and is also an authorised distributor for Senko gas detectors, Sensidyne fixed gas detectors from Tempa, Florida, USA, BIOS / Mesa Labs flow calibrators, Sensidyne / Gilian flow calibrators, and NTEK acoustic equipment.
Both companies share offices at 11 Kallang Place, Singapore 339155. This close relationship means that instruments purchased from AIS can be calibrated by ALAB, and our combined team brings deep expertise across the full lifecycle of acoustic, vibration, gas detection, flow, industrial hygiene, and environmental measurement instruments.
Our Team
Our calibration engineers and noise consultants hold relevant qualifications including MOM-registered Competent Persons for noise monitoring, and have extensive experience with acoustic and vibration measurement across industrial, construction, and environmental applications.
