Vibration Monitoring Services
Absolute Laboratories provides vibration monitoring services for construction projects, infrastructure works, and sites where vibration limits, alarms, data logs, or reporting are required by project specifications, consultants, or authorities such as BCA and LTA.
We separate vibration monitoring from vibration instrument calibration because customers usually have different needs: one group needs deployment and reporting at site, while another needs calibration records for their own vibration monitors.
Typical Vibration Monitoring Applications
- Construction and demolition vibration monitoring near sensitive buildings, structures, utilities, or occupied premises
- LTA, BCA, consultant, or contract-specified vibration monitoring requirements for project control
- Realtime vibration monitoring with alerts where continuous site visibility is required
- Periodic or short-term vibration measurements for baseline checks, complaint investigation, or method assessment
- Reports and data summaries for project teams, consultants, or submission packages where required
Monitoring Systems We Can Deploy
- Svantek SV803 and SV804 vibration monitoring systems for construction and environmental vibration applications
- Syscom ROCK vibration monitors for robust site monitoring and long-term deployments
- Instantel Micromate vibration monitors for construction, blasting, and ground vibration measurement applications
Equipment selection depends on the monitoring objective, frequency range, alarm requirements, site access, reporting format, and project duration.
Realtime Monitoring and Power Autonomy
Some projects need realtime monitoring with alerts and remote data access. Others only need periodic site measurements or logger-based reporting. We help scope the setup based on practical site constraints.
- Realtime monitoring: suitable where vibration levels need to be tracked continuously and alerts are required for project teams.
- Power options: grid power, solar support, or internal battery operation depending on site availability and deployment duration.
- Site planning: sensor location, mounting method, weather protection, access control, and data retrieval method should be confirmed before deployment.
Related Calibration Support
ALAB also supports calibration for covered acoustic and vibration instruments. Accreditation applies only to specific SAC-SINGLAS scopes, ranges, and methods. If you need calibration rather than site monitoring, see Acoustic & Vibration Calibration or contact us with the instrument brand and model.

- Project location and site constraints
- Authority, consultant, or contract requirement if available
- Whether realtime alerts are needed
- Monitoring duration and expected start date
- Power availability: grid, solar possibility, or battery-only
- Preferred reporting format and submission deadline
